Typical Turnaround Timelines for the variants below. If I am on vacation I will put a banner across the top of my website so you may adjust your expectations.

  • 3 business days for 1st version. I will also look at your second draft after you’ve made changes and give you my feedback.

  • (if purchased solo, not part of bundle) 4 business days for 1st draft

  • 4 business days for 1st iteration

  • This one’s extremely collaborative so the timeline will vary with each project. If you’re very responsive, we can probably finish it in 7 business days. If you’re somewhat responsive, probably 14 business days but it really depends.

  • ~6 business days for 1st iteration if you are responsive to questions while I work on it. Please provide your resume and headshot at time of purchase.

  • This depends on how quickly you can get back to me because it’s very collaborative. If you’re very responsive we can probably do it in 1.5 weeks. If you’re somewhat responsive, it may take 3 weeks or longer, it really depends. Please be ready to provide a headshot.

FAQ

  • Assuming you have a pre-existing resume, you will fill out the intake form you’ll be prompted to fill out when you’ve started to check-out process, before you complete your purchase. That’ll give me a lot of great background information that I’ll use to make the first draft. I do expect to have several questions waiting for you at the end of the notes section on your first draft that I’ll want you to respond to in order to make the final draft better highlight your accomplishments. I might ask you questions while working on the first draft, too, via email. I’ll be reformatting your resume to be a more modern, sleek, ATS-compliant format. You can see examples of that sleek format in my brochure. Make sure you’re looking at the revised versions, not the original versions of the before-and-after samples, ha!

    If your order is for me to create a resume from scratch for you, then expect lots of emails back and forth discussing your experience (in addition to the above process I outlined above for pre-existing resumes).

  • In a resume review and critique, I’m writing out a detailed and instructive analysis of your resume and providing specific feedback and concrete suggestions for how to implement them with real examples. I’m basically telling you how I would revamp it had you paid for the revamp, but you do the editng, writing, and reformating yourself instead.
    The resume review and critique includes me also looking at your next draft after you’ve implemented feedback and changes.

  • I can or I can provide you with a document with copy and paste content and detailed instructions for how to do that for each section. For each LinkedIn optimization, I also include a document with a customized LinkedIn engagement strategy. Expect me to ask if you’re comfortable authoring original content and how public or private you want to make your interactions on LinkedIn. Getting your name in front of people is helpful but there are other ways to do that in a more behind the scenes way if that’s more your style. If I do log into your LinkedIn account, I’ll ask that you change your password to something specific before we do the project. Please for the love of god change your password after I’m done working on it so I can sleep well at night. I don’t want to have access to more LinkedIn accounts than necessary! Too much risk!

  • No, that's not a specialty of mine. With that said, I can give it my best efforts. I have worked on them before and would research that country's CV standards while working on it. However, I'm most experienced with United States and Canadian resumes and all of my work history has been based in the United States.

  • No, that’s fine. Just be responsive to my questions about your experience and I’ll handle those experience entries for you :)

  • My go-to is Microsoft Word. However, we can use Google Docs online, or the Pages app on Macs. It's really up to you because you'll be the person with the finished file that you may want to edit in the future. I can export to PDF format from any of them, and also ensure you have an editable file.
